CLASSES
YOGA
Yoga means union. After you've practiced for a while, you'll become aware of what a natural, holistic experience it is to synchronise poses, breath, and mental focus. At Future Fitness, you'll find a greater emphasis on this connection between the mind and body - a combination of meditation, flexibility and weight loss.
YOGALATES
Yogalates combines the flexibility, meditative and weight loss elements of Yoga, with the muscle strengthening and toning of Pilates. This combination of disciplines creates a strong, streamlined body, leaving you feeling taller, leaner and with a strong sense of health and well being. Plus, it's suitable for both beginners and experienced students alike!
CIRCUIT TRAINING
Circuit training is an excellent way to simultaneously improve mobility, strength and stamina. The circuit training format generally utilises a group of 6 to 10 strength exercises that are completed, one exercise after another. Each exercise is performed for a specified number of repetitions or for a prescribed time period before moving on to the next exercise.
BELLY DANCING
Belly Dancing is an excellent form of exercise that not only strengthens the abdomen, it also enhances the shape of the hips - oh, and helps you lose weight too! Then there's the fun involved in doing it. People who have suffered from depression actually state that belly dancing has helped them.
BOXERCISE
Boxercise is one of the most effective forms of cross-training available today. It combines use of both aerobic and anaerobic energy systems with the systematic recruitment of both fast and slow twitch muscle fibres in a manner that not only ensures a diverse workout but also enhances sports specific senses including hand-eye co-ordination, balance and timing.
STEP CLASSES
Step classes utilise the motion of stepping up and down on a platform for aerobic conditioning. It is a low impact, easy to follow moderate to high intensity workout using an adjustable platform.
BUMS & TUMS
Bums & Tums helps you re-sculpt your curves and reshape your body. Bums& Tums allow for lasting results whether you're just starting out or fairly fit already.
DANCEROBICS
Dancerobics is the pulse monitored, dance exercise way to fitness and good health. A combination of walking, jogging and dancing, the class is for non-dancers and dancers alike. The music and the movement are lively, joyful, energetic and fun.
